Our Worship Service

Our CCF family gathers together for a time of corporate worship each Sunday morning at 10:00 am.  The dress code is casual. The worship is contemporary. The preaching is from the Bible. We provide a nursery for infants and toddlers and a “Kids Life” ministry for ages 3 to 10. We share communion together the first Sunday of each month and we have prayer teams available, at the end of each service, to minister to you personally, if desired.

 CCF Church Doctrine
  1. We believe the Scriptures of the Old and New Testament to be the inspired and only infallible and authoritative Word of God.  (2 Tim. 3:15, 16 / 1 Peter 2:2)

  1. We believe there is one God, eternally existing in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.  (Deut. 6:4/ Matt. 28:19/ Mark 12:29/ John 5:17-30)

  1. We believe in the Deity of our Lord Jesus Christ and in His complete and perfect humanity. We believe in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal future return to this earth in power and glory to rule over the nations.  (Isa.7:14/ Hebrews 7:26/ Acts 2:2/ 1 Cor. 15: 3-4/ Acts 1:9,11)

  1. We believe that man was created good and upright in the image of God, but man voluntarily sinned and thereby incurred both physical and spiritual death, which is separation from God. (Gen. 1:26-27/ Gen 2:17/ Gen 3:6/ Romans 5:12-19)

  1. We believe that regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential to salvation, and His indwelling presence and anointing is necessary for the living of a godly empowered Christian life; and that it is only by grace, through faith in the precious blood of Christ, that man can be saved from sin and it’s evil. (Luke 24:47/ Romans 8:16/ Romans 10:13-15/ Titus 2:11/ Titus 3:5-7)

  1. We believe in the Holy Spirit as a person, separate and distinct from and coequal in the triune Godhead with the Father and the Son. He is sent to dwell within the heart of each child of God, to comfort, to teach, to empower, and to lead into all truth.  (Luke 24:49/ Acts 1:4/ Acts 8:2-/ Acts 10:44-46/ Acts 15:8-9)

  1. We believe in the resurrection and judgment of both the saved and the lost; they that are saved unto the resurrection of life and they that are lost unto damnation which is the second death. (Matt. 25:46/ Mark 8:34-38/ Rev. 19;20; 11-15/ Rev 21:8)

  1. We believe that the church is the Body of Christ, each believer, born of the Spirit is a part of the “General Assembly and Church of the First Born, which are written in Heaven”. (Eph. 1:22-23/ Eph. 2:22/ Heb. 12:23)

  1. We believe that baptism of adults (persons of the age of accountability) and the Lord’s Supper are the two ordinances instituted by our Lord. (Matt. 28:19/ Acts 2:38/ 1 Cor. 11:23-26/ Matt. 26:20-29)

Tobin Curtis, Pastor

Favorite Verse: Proverbs 24:11 “Rescue those being led away to death; hold back those staggering toward slaughter.”

Favorite Movie: “Red Dawn” the original with Patrick Swayze. There’s just something about defending your homeland from a Russian invasion that gets this red-blooded American shouting “Wolverine!”

Favorite Restaurant: The Asian Cafe in Winslow, ME. My wife and I try to go there for lunch at least once per week. You have to try their drunken noodle, it’s delicious!

If you were not a Pastor what would you be doing?
First of all, I would be working more than just one hour on Sundays! But seriously, I really enjoy coaching at the high school level and I love organizing and leading mission trips. So I guess, if I could coach a high school football team that travels to other countries and shares the gospel after each touchdown, that’s what I would be doing.
